On October 23rd, SM Entertainment artists brought their family concert to New York City for the first time to perform at the prestigious Madison Square Garden. According to a recent press release by SM Entertainment, the concert is set to make its debut on the big screen.
Scheduled to be shown in theaters in the first half of 2012, the movie tentively titled “I am: SMTOWN LIVE WORLD TOUR in Madison Square Garden” will include performances by SM artists as well as interviews by the artist and behind-the-scene footage.
The concert featured Kangta, BoA, TVXQ, Super Junior, Girls’ Generation, SHINee, and f(x), and attracted over 15,000 enthusiastic fans and reporters from the New York Times, New York Daily, Billboard, Village Voice, MTV, Comcast, New York 1, Japan’s Sankei Sports and Nitkan Sports, China’s Ming Pao Daily News, and more.
Meanwhile, SMTOWN recently released a special photobook from all of their tour concerts in Seoul, Los Angeles, Tokyo, Shanghai, and Paris.
