The hotly-anticipated new YG Entertainment girl group has settled on its debut month.
Though initially scheduled to make its debut in the fall this year, YG’s Yang Hyun Suk shared on October 5 that the group would make its official debut in January of next year.
According to YG Entertainment, Epik High and Lee Hi will see their respective new albums out this month which will be followed up in November with new music from 2NE1 and Big Bang’s Taeyang.
The new girl group’s potential members were unveiled through the YG official blog earlier this year reflecting their good looks, music and dancing skills, but YG stressed that the membership of the group had not yet officially settled.
Nevertheless, as it is YG’s first girl group since 2NE1, expectations are high for the new group’s debut.
