After doing well on Billboard Charts, iTunes album charts and local music rankings, Big Bang’s title track “Monster” also topped one of China‘s biggest music video site, Yinyuetai.
As of June 9th, “Monster” topped the music video charts after it was viewed more than 2,900,000 times and also hit the top spot on both real-time and weekly charts. The track was also able to get a perfect score of 100 from its users.
Meanwhile, a representative from the video hosting site also revealed that there were only two music videos from South Korea to receive a perfect score from its users. Both of which were given to Big Bang’s “Bad Boy” and “Monster” music video.
Big bang continues to gain more popularity in the country as the video hosting site boasts of having at least 3 million users a day. Currently, Big Bang is touring the rest of Japan as part of their world tour. They are also planning to release the special edition album “Alive – Monster Edition” on June 20th to celebrate the launch of their world tour.
