On January 18th, AKB48’s Shinoda Mariko attended a private viewing of the ‘King Tut Exhibit: Golden Treasures and the Young King’s Truth’ exhibit at the Tempozan Tokusetsu Gallery in Osaka.
Shinoda was chosen as the special supporter for the exhibit, and so she arrived in grand style to do the King proud. Wearing a black, off-the-shoulder dress with golden accessories, Shinoda drew compliments for her timeless look.
While at the exhibit, she showed particular interest in the ancient accessories display. Afterwards, Shinoda expressed her delight with the show, saying, “Today, I looked at a lot of King Tut’s ornaments in person and got to study their designs.” She added, “I plan to tell the other members [of AKB48] about this gorgeous gallery.”
‘King Tut Exhibit: Golden Treasures and the Young King’s Truth’ will be held from March 17th to June 3rd at the Tempozan Tokusetsu Gallery, and will move to Tokyo for a show at the Ueno’s Mori Art Museum from August 4th to December 9th.
