The wait is finally over!! I cried a little at the end of the episode! Sorry if that gave away a bit too much! I’m loving this drama more and more!
Nana is manages to get inside the building by pretending she is a relative of a one of the deceased. She sees Young Joo walking behind Yoon Seong. She goes inside the theater room and grabs Yoon Seong as he walks pass. Yoon Seong pushes Nana against the wall, not saying anything. While holding Nana’s hand, Yoon Seong and her get in an ambulance in order to get out. As the ambulance waits to cross the train tracks, they get off. Yoon Seong leads Nana up a bridge and asks her how long she has known (that he is City Hunter) and she tells him since she fell from the broadcast. She told him that she didn’t want to tell him because she thought he would avoid her more. He tells her that being City Hunter is his true face and that made her think that he was the one who killed the innocent people. He also told her to forget about him and go back to the time before she met him.
Young Joo is told that the blood sample didn’t match and he find its unbelieveble.
Jin Pyo is at Yoon Seong house. When Yoon Seong arrives, he tells him that even though the blood test didn’t match, Young Joo is still suspicious of him. Yoon Seong tells his dad that he will be careful to not get caught but his dad doesn’t buy it. Jin Pyo tells him that if his identity is revealed “That child will die” (Nana).
After Nana washes her face, she looks into the mirror, holding the necklace and thinks about the time she shot Yoon Seong and how he saved her. Meanwhile, Yoon Seong is thinking about what he has just told Nana and tells himself to forget about Nana, for Nana’s own good. At work, Eun Ah and Nana sits with Yoon Seong and Gi Joon to have lunch. The head of the IT department asks why Yoon Seong didn’t attend the meeting, to which Yoon Seong says that he got lost. Nana tries to help him out and says that since Yoon Seong just arrived from the US, it is still possible to get lost. After Yoon Seong leaves, he texts Nana to come to the bench.
Nana sits next to Yoon Seong and Yoon Seong tells her that his warning is not a joke. Nana still believes that Yoon Seong is not a bad person and says that he even saved her. He tells her that he only saved her because he is using her as a disguise and he would do the same to Eun Ah. Yoon Seong also says that he won’t be needing her and her house anymore. When Yoon Seong starts to leave, she says that if he would save Eun Ah, then that means that he wouldn’t kill Lee Kyeong Won. Yoon Seong leaves after saying, “Don’t make me regret about saving you”. Yoon Seong decides to hand in his resignation letter because he is finding the work place boring. The head of IT thinks it’s is fault and looks at Gi Joon who is next to him.
At the prosecutors office, Pil Jae explains that while he was following Yoon Seong, Nana jumped in front of the car. He also told Young Joo that Yoon Seong did the blood test for Lee Kyung Hee, whose husband was part of the Special Forces. Young JoO and Pil Jae visit Kyung Hee at the hospital in order to find out more information about Kyung Hee’s husband. She tells him that he didn’t return in 1983 and doesn’t know what happened. After she sees Jin Pyo appear behind Young Joo and Pil Jae, she leaves.
In her room, Jin Pyo is waiting for her. She asks him what happened to her husband but he doesn’t tell her. Because she might die soon, she begs him to let her see her son just once, but he tells her that he died in a plane crash 5 years ago by the people who killed her husband. Kyung Hee doesn’t want to believe him, so he takes a newspaper with an article about the plane crash. He continues to make her believe things that are not true and wants to move her to a different hospital. He instructs Sang Gook to help Kyung Hee pack her things, but Sang Gook questions him if they really have to go as far as telling her that Yoon Seong is dead. Jin Pyo tells him that with Kyung Hee around, Yoon Seong will have a confused heart and emotions will get in the way of revenge.
Yoon Seong and ahjussi are having dinner. Ahjussi wants Yoon Seong to read over a confession that he made. After looking at the paper briefly, Yoon Seong tells ahjussi that he told Nana to move out. Ahjussi says that Nana has nowhere to go, but Yoon Seong tells him it is the only way for her to be safe. At the hospital, Kyung Hee asks Sang Gook to her soda and as he does so, she escapes. As she walks out of one door, Yoon Seong walks in through the other, not seeing her. Sang Gook realizes that Kyung Hee is missing so he goes looking for her. Yoon Seong goes to Kyung Hee to find that she is not there. The nurse informs him that she left after a man with a cane came. Yoon Seong immediately goes to his dad, demanding an answer to where his mom is. Jin Pyo tells him that she will be safe is he follows his orders properly and he wants Yoon Seong to kill Kim Jong Shik personally. Sang Gook phones Jin Pyo, telling him that Kyung Hee is gone but he tell Yoon Seong that his mom has arrived safe at the hospital.
After Yoon Seong takes his leave, Jin Pyo instructs someone to find Kyung Hee immediately and to install a tracking device in Yoon Seong’s home. Kyung Hee is on a coach and Kim Jong Shik appears on TV, talking about school funds. Kim Jong Shik has arrived at the airport and is on the phone with Chen Chairman and tells him that he is going to meet his son, Young Joo. Young Joo and Kim Jong Shik is in sauna. Kim Jong Shik wonders when their misunderstanding started. He tells Young Joo that having a high position is sweet that he cannot let go of it. He also tells him that they are the same, but Young Joo thinks not.
While ahjussi is cleaning some cups, with headphones on (that aren’t even plugged into anything. LOL 😛 ), Sang Gook enters the house and places a tracking device inside a lamp shade.
The Presidents hold a meeting with Kim Jong Shik and Chen Chairman about the mission in 1983. He shows them the documents Young Joo wants and he want to publicize it, but the other two don’t. The President says that it is their fault so they should bear the punishment from citizens. In the IT department, Yoon Seong is packing his things while the chief is trying to persuade him not to go. As he puts his belongs in a box, he sees the present meant for Nana. He gives to Gi Joon, saying that he has no girl to give it to. While Nana is working at her desk, Eun Ah shows her the wallet Gi Joon gave her. Nana notices that it is the same as hers and Eun Ah tells her that Yoon Seong gave it to Gi Joon and that Yoon Seong has packed his things. With this, Nana immediately leaves.
Nana manages to catch up with Yoon Seong. She tells him that getting a job in the Blue House is not easy and that he shouldn’t leave because of her. He ignores her and walks off. With their back to each other, she says “I can go back to the time before I met Yoon Seong. From Yoon Seong’s life, I can disappear. I just came to say that”. Yoon Seong is shocked and looks back at Nana who is walking away. While Nana sits at her desk, a packages arrives from “Bae Man Dok” (a.k.a ahjussi). Inside she finds the confession ahjussi wrote along with bank details. She goes to the Prosecutors office, where her aunt works. As she waits, she says the phrase “Don’t be afraid of the darkness, because not far from you, there is light” on one of the computer screens (Young Joo’s).
Nana and Young Joo have coffee together. Nana now knows that Young Joo is Long-Leg Ahjussi, who has been sending her letter. She hands over the documents ahjussi sent, asking help to reinvestigate her parent’s case. Yoon Seong is at home, trying to work out where the money meant for a university went. Ahjussi comes with fried chicken, and Yoon Seong tells him to give some to his dad and attach and tracking device to his walking stick.
Nana packs her things in her house and goes to Soo Hee’s vet, asking if she can stay there for a few days. Soo Hee offers her to live with her, but Nana says it alright. Nana also tells her that Young Joo is long legged ahjussi. Ahjussi goes to Jin Pyo’s house with the fried chicken. As Jin Pyo is about to eat it Sang Gook tries to say something, but Jin Pyo knows that ahjussi and Yoon Seong don’t have the guts to poison him. Ahjussi looks at the walking stick placed on the table. He grabs the walking stick and pretends to be admiring it. Sang Gook and Jin Pyo look at him weirdly, so he places it back on the table and leaves. Jin Pyo then says “Daring to place a tracking device…”
Young Joo receives a letter saying “Kim Jong Shik is City Hunter’s next target” so immediately goes to his dad. he tells him about the letter, asking whether he has done anything that has angered citizens and Jong Shik says he is innocent and asks whether he trust City Hunter more than him. Young Joo says that if he didn’t know about the incident 10 years ago (when Jong Shik brided ahjussi to change his testimony) he would.
While ahjussi visits his mom, he tells Yoon Seong that he didn’t manage to install the tracking device. He is then kidnapped by people who work for Jong Shik. A text message is sent to Yoon Seong saying “XYZ”, which is a code that he is in danger. Mean while, Nana is also kidnapped at a bridge. She wakes up and finds herself in a dark room with ahjussi. Ahjussi wakes up and help untie the rope around her. Yoon Seong makes his way to where they are and finds that they are in Kim Jong Shik’s house.
Nana pretends that she needs to go the the bathroom, so the man comes over. She ties him up with her rope and escapes with ahjussi. Yoon Seong finds Kim Jong Shik’s office and there he finds a code lock to something. Nana and ahjussi nearly get caught but Yoon Seong kicks the people out of the way. Yoon Seong tells them to wait in the car and he goes back to the office. He cracks the code and a door opens. Inside he finds a massive pile of money. With his calculations, there is 200 billion won. He has found where the money meant for a university is. He place a tracking device in the pile of money and leaves. But he is shot with something to knock him out by a guard.
Outside, Nana and ahjussi are still waiting for Yoon Seong by the tree when they see the guards carry Yoon Seong away. Yoon Seong is taken to a warehouse and is interrogated by the guards. He hits the guard with his head after he pulled his hand back with his hair. Nana and ahjussi have arrived and sees what is happening. The guard challenges Yoon Seong to a fight, but he is still drowsy from the drug. Yoon Seong is loosing and is on the floor coughing blood. As one of the guard is about to hit Yoon Seong with a metal chair, Nana bursts in to save him. One of the guard is about to shoot Yoon Seong so Nana dives in front of Yoon Seong and the bullet hits her. She falls on top of Yoon Seong and he sees she got shot so he gets up and beats the guard up. He goes back over to Nana and asks her why she took the bullet for him and she says because he saved her twice. She then asks if he hated her, hoping he would say no, but he is too shocked to reply. Her eyes slowly close and her arms drop down.
